Elder statesman and Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) leader, Edwin Clark, has passed away at the age of 97.
His death was confirmed in an official statement released on Tuesday by Prof. C. C. Clark, a representative of the family.

Clark, a former Federal Commissioner for Information, was a key figure in Niger Delta advocacy and played a significant role in national politics. Over the decades, he remained a vocal champion for resource control, regional development, and equity in Nigeria.
