Back on Stage!
Colombian pop sensation Shakira has confirmed that her concert in Lima, Peru, will go ahead as planned on Monday, just a day after she was briefly hospitalized.
Health Scare & Canceled Show
The 48-year-old singer was rushed to the emergency room on Saturday night, forcing her to cancel a Sunday performance. However, she reassured fans on Instagram that the gates to the National Stadium in Lima would open at 4:00 PM, with the concert kicking off at 8:15 PM.
While her post did not mention her health, Masterlive, the event organizers, confirmed the rescheduled date for the canceled show will be announced soon.
Shakira’s “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” Tour
This is Shakira’s first world tour in seven years, named “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women Don’t Cry Anymore). It launched in Rio de Janeiro, shortly after she won a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album.
With over 90 million records sold, four Grammy Awards, and an array of accolades, Shakira remains one of the most influential Latin artists of all time.
Her tour will cover 50 shows across Latin America until June, followed by concerts in the United States and Canada.
