Mohammed Tijani Relishes Scoring Debut for Plymouth Argyle

Mohammed Tijani is overjoyed after netting his first goal for Sky Bet Championship side Plymouth Argyle in their 1-1 draw against Cardiff City at Home Park on Saturday.

A Crucial Equalizer for Plymouth
The 24-year-old striker, who joined Plymouth on loan from Czech club Baník Ostrava, rescued a valuable point for his team after Youcef Salech put Cardiff in front just 12 minutes into the match.

Tijani struck 23 minutes from time, leveling the score and ensuring Plymouth walked away with a share of the spoils.

Tijani’s Emotional Reaction
Following his goal, the former Flying Eagles forward expressed his delight on social media, writing on X (formerly Twitter):

“The feeling of scoring my first goal in front of our fans at Home Park can’t be put into words. Thanks for fighting with us, we keep pushing.”

A Promising Future for Tijani
Since arriving last summer, Tijani has made seven league appearances under head coach Miron Muslic. With this breakthrough goal, the Nigerian striker will be hoping to cement his place in the starting lineup and help Plymouth climb the Championship table.

Can Tijani build on this momentum and deliver more goals for Plymouth?
