“Native Doctors on the Run as Soludo Intensifies Crackdown on Crime and Darkness”
Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has reaffirmed the state’s identity as a predominantly Christian region, vowing to rid the state of evil elements. Speaking at a Healing and Deliverance crusade organized by the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC) on Wednesday night, Soludo declared that all dangerous native doctors in the state are now on the run.
“Anambra: A Beacon of Light in Nigeria”
Governor Soludo emphasized that Anambra’s Christian identity is undeniable, with 98% of its residents professing the faith. “Anambra is predominantly a Christian State. People usually ask why I say that, but I tell them that when you have a place where you find 98 percent of the people professing one thing, it is appropriate to say it that way,” he stated.
He added that his administration is committed to driving out darkness and evil, asserting, “All the dangerous native doctors are on the run. Because light and darkness cannot be in the same place. Evil must give way.”
“Security Improvements in Anambra”
Soludo also addressed the recent security challenges that plagued the state, revealing significant progress in restoring peace. He shared a report from the Commissioner of Police indicating that no gunshots were recorded in the past month, either from criminals or law enforcement.
“I just saw a report by our Commissioner of Police, CP, that in the last one month, there was no gunshot from either the criminals or the police,” the governor said, highlighting the success of his administration’s security measures.
“A Symbol of Faith: Plans for a Christian Monument”
During the event, Governor Soludo hinted at plans to erect a Christian symbol in the state, describing it as a testament to Anambra’s faith-based identity.
“By the next time you come here, you will see the light of the nation, and you will see a cross carrying the light of the nation,” he told the Senior Pastor of Dunamis Church, Dr. Paul Enenche.
Soludo also requested prayers for the state, saying, “Before you leave, please pray for Anambra State.”
“What’s Next for Anambra?”
Governor Soludo’s declaration and actions reflect his administration’s commitment to fostering a safe, peaceful, and faith-driven environment in Anambra. The crackdown on native doctors and the planned Christian monument underscore his vision of a state rooted in Christian values and free from crime and darkness.
