“Taraba APC Unites: Stakeholders Reconcile, Set Sights on 2027 Elections”

In a significant move to reclaim its political footing, key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State have resolved their internal disputes and pledged to work together ahead of the 2027 general elections. This reconciliation marks a turning point for the party, which has been grappling with divisions since the fallout of the 2022 primaries.

A Turning Point for Taraba APC
During a crucial meeting held over the weekend, APC leaders in Taraba State agreed to set aside past grievances and focus on building a stronger, more united party. The meeting, described as the most productive in years, was attended by prominent figures, including former Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Alhaji Hassan Ardo Jika.

Jika highlighted the impact of internal divisions on the party’s performance, stating that the lack of unity had weakened the APC’s ability to challenge what he termed “bad governance” in the state.

“I can confirm that the APC in Taraba is finally on the right track. We held a mega meeting with a national official present, and the outcome is very encouraging,” Jika said. “All stakeholders have resolved to work together, forgive past grievances, and move forward as a united force.”

Notable Absentees and Ongoing Efforts
While the meeting saw broad participation, some key figures were notably absent, including Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, the party’s governorship candidate in the last general election. Despite this, the APC remains optimistic about its renewed unity.

Taraba APC spokesman, Mr. Aaron Artimas, emphasized that the meeting was part of a broader reconciliation effort.

“It has been challenging to bring everyone together under a common front, but we have finally achieved that,” Artimas said. “This is just one in a series of meetings aimed at fostering party unity.”

Looking Ahead to 2027
With internal divisions now being addressed, the APC in Taraba is positioning itself as a formidable opposition and a credible alternative for the 2027 elections. The party aims to capitalize on this renewed unity to challenge the current administration and win the trust of Taraba voters.

A New Chapter for Taraba APC
The reconciliation of Taraba APC stakeholders marks a new chapter for the party. By setting aside past grievances and focusing on a shared vision, the APC is laying the groundwork for a strong comeback in 2027. As the party moves forward, all eyes will be on its ability to maintain this unity and deliver on its promises to the people of Taraba.
