In a significant crackdown on cybercrime, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters in Niger State. The suspects were apprehended at the White Hotel in Chanchangi Local Government Area following credible intelligence about their involvement in fraudulent online activities.
The EFCC also recovered two vehicles and 13 mobile phones of different brands from the suspects. Here’s what we know so far.

“The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations,” the EFCC stated in a release.
