The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, has emphasized the need for collective efforts among West African nations to tackle the region’s escalating security challenges. Speaking at the Gala Night for the 43rd Ordinary Meeting of the ECOWAS Committee of Chiefs of Defence Staff in Abuja, Matawalle highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration in addressing threats such as terrorism, insurgency, and transnational crime.”A Region Under Siege: The Growing Security Threats”
